Required: ResLife t-shirt and professional bottoms.
It's dorm move-in! I wanted to break away from the typical khaki pants routine, so I went with a houndstooth(?) pencil skirt and boots (not uncomfortable since I was assigned to the desk all day).
Pencil skirt - Victoria's Secret / Sable booties - Trend Report
These needed a pop of color :)
Edit: Everyone kept on asking me why I was so dressed up. Dang, it's just a pencil skirt! Maybe that's what Victoria's Secret does for you bahaha

At the airport, they had these large lounge chairs and couples would share them. Something about these two meshed together so well, a mixture of casual weariness and closeness that arose from their journey. Looking forward to one day when I'll have someone to travel with like that.

Loved this guy's posture, like he was posing for me! :)
I don't know much about traditional Muslim women's fashion, but I saw a lot of mixing of patterns between robes and head pieces. This woman chose fabrics that were a lot more subtle than many of the other ones I saw (maybe because of her age) but it was more to my aesthetic.

Apa kabar? = How are you? Learned a few random Malay words, like pulau (island), awas (slow), and keluar (exit)...
Tried on a traditional Malay outfit (in two colors) - I wasn't sure if I'd ever get a chance to wear it in real life so I didn't buy it, but just had to try it once!

Okay, I'm in love with Big... Other than it being hilarious, clever, flail-worthy and heart wrenching at the same time (and I would probably literally marry the main actor, here on the right), Gil Da Ran has great style. I thought it was extra cute how her and Kyung Joon were matching in the above scene.

I tried to do my hair "Mool Gyul" style as Gil Da Ran has when her hair is down, but mine doesn't take curls very easily and I was in a hurry, so it's not quite defined. This is a good tutorial for it though, if you want to try it for yourself :
