I want a library full of our stories
A ship to keep our memories afloat
I wanna hit rewind
Playback a hundred times
The moment when our hearts aligned

La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la

Burberry sure knows how to market an image.  Gorgeous atmospheres and poignant songs that feel truly loved and "hand crafted" by the artists, just as Burberry puts much thought into their quality designs.  They're not just selling the clothes, they're selling the image (Not that they hadn't already convinced me that a Burberry trench is my dream investment piece.)  Burberry takes pride in their heritage, and I believe these are all British/UK artists.

Acoustic music and British accents, two of my weaknesses.  And honestly, British fashion is probably my favorite, aesthetic-wise.

Here are some of my favorites.  I imagine walking through London on a summer morning just as the sun is coming up:

Life in Film - "Carla"

General Fiasco - "Sinking Ships"

"In the Arms of Another Day" - The Daydream Club

One Night Only - "Long Time Coming"

One Night Only - "Chemistry"

Music ties into one of several perfumes that I've been deliberating on buying:  Burberry "The Beat"

My family and I went up to Vancouver over Memorial Day Weekend.  It's a booming city with a ton of different people (Canada is, more and more so, a country of immigrants), so I figured that I could find a LOT of interesting people to shoot.  More so than in typical my Seattle suburbs.

It didn't turn out that way.  There were many cool people, definitely.  Because of the enormous Asian population, I saw a lot of more adventurous, urban looks, a few of which still stick out in my mind.  However, whenever I could get out, it was either too crowded (as seen above in the night market.  This was the calm area, CRAZY) or our car was moving too fast for me to focus on pedestrians.

That's okay, though.  This project can wait a bit.  I was glad to just enjoy the moment.

John Mayer is one of my favorite lyricists, and a long-time goodie "3x5" sums it up nicely.

Today skies are painted colors of a cowboy's cliche'
And strange how clouds that look like mountains in the sky
are next to mountains anyway
Didn't have a camera by my side this time
Hoping I would see the world with both my eyes
Maybe I will tell you all about it when I'm
in the mood to lose my way...
