The name makes a difference

Isn't it pretty?

This hemline goes by many names:  high-low, hi-lo, asymmetrical, cascade, dipped-back, fishtail, and waterfall.  And today, I learned another synonym.

The mullet hem.  Ew >__<  Does it start changing the image in your head?

Even if it's an accurate description (short in front, long in back), still.  Would you want to buy it if you heard it was named after (or inspired by??) this unfortunate haircut?

I still love my two high-low dresses, at any rate.  That's what I will choose to call them.
